Manchester United could be willing to loan out homegrown striker Marcus Rashford in January, according to Football Insider.

The 27-year-old has spoken publicly about his desire for a new challenge after spending his entire career at Old Trafford.

Rashford has been frozen out of new boss Ruben Amorim’s United squad after failing to impress in the 2024-25 season.

A loan deal for Rashford could be the most likely outcome in the January window, sources have revealed.

In January, Manchester United loaned Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund in a bid to rekindle his career and bring the winger back to the club.

He has since moved to Chelsea on loan, with the Blues having an obligation to buy next summer.

It is believe the club could take a similar approach with Rashford, as they need to give the player game time to boost his transfer value and attract interest.

As per the report, the last 48 hours have caused a huge amount of unrest inside the club and that the club would rather have him leave in January but only if they can strike a loan deal with a non-Premier League club as they are not willing to loan him to another league rival.
