Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has kept his answer in the same vein, saying the Blues are not yet Premier League title contenders, but he is happy with where the team is at.
Chelsea have a Premier League home game at Stamford Bridge against Fulham on Boxing Day this Thursday after drawing 0-0 at Everton at Goodison Park, leaving them four points behind leaders Liverpool, with the Reds having played a game less.
“We are almost halfway through now, so the table reflects where each team is,” Maresca said.
“Liverpool have been excellent since day one. The team is used to that situation, it’s important and we are happy with where we are now.”
“I think Manchester City will be in that position towards the end. They are in an unprecedented situation. They have a new injury almost every game. It’s a very bad situation.”
As for the current status of Chelsea, is it one of the teams competing for the Premier League title? Maresca replied, “For me, it’s the truth, not the pressure. I like this kind of pressure.
“I said we are not there because Register ufabet that’s true for me. The main thing is to continue to develop the team and win,” Maresca said.
